WEST WARWICK, RI — A Woonsocket man was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop Saturday afternoon.
Alexis Cartagena, 38, of Woonsocket, was taken into custody at 2:30 p.m. on Mill Street.
Cartagena was arrested on a Third District bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on an original charge of driving with an expired license from the North Smithfield Police Department.
He was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks for processing and later taken to the Adult Correctional Institution.
