Man arrested on fugitive charge in Westminster

WESTMINSTER, VT — A California man was arrested on fugitive and warrant charges at a residence on Pine Banks Road.

Devon Hardy, 26, of California, was taken into custody by deputies with the Windham County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 21.

Hardy had an active arrest warrant issued by the State of New Hampshire as well as an active in-state arrest warrant in Vermont.

Hardy was processed at the Windham County Sheriff’s Office where he was ordered held on $50,000 cash or surety bond for the fugitive from justice charge as well as $200 for the Vermont in-state arrest warrant.

Hardy was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility and issued a criminal citation to appear on Nov. 24.
