WAITSFIELD, VT — A 45-year-old man was arrested early Sunday after crashing his vehicle into two structures on Main Street.
State police responded to the single-vehicle crash at 12:42 a.m. Nov. 23.
An investigation revealed Eric McCarthy, of Essex, was operating a motor vehicle when he went off the road and collided with a portion of a structure.
The vehicle then struck the gable end of a separate residence.
Troopers observed McCarthy to have signs of impairment.
McCarthy was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and negligent operation.
He was later released on a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court-Criminal Division.
