Two juveniles arrested in armed robbery in Dorchester

DORCHESTER, MA — Two juvenile males were arrested Friday morning following an armed robbery in which a firearm was displayed and a backpack was stolen from a victim.

Officers assigned to District C-11 responded to the area of Talbot Avenue and Dorchester Avenue at about 7:22 a.m. on Nov. 21 for a radio call for a person with a gun.

Boston Police Operations provided officers with a description of the suspects and their direction of flight.

Officers searched the area and located one of the suspects at Ocean Street and Roslin Street.

The second suspect was located shortly after in the area of 62 Roslin Street.

District detectives responded and processed the recovered evidence.

The firearm was determined to be a Glock 48 with seven rounds in a magazine capable of holding 10 total rounds.

A 17-year-old juvenile male is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester Court on charges of delinquent to wit; armed robbery, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card, possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a large capacity firearm.

A 14-year-old juvenile male is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester Court on a charge of delinquent to wit; armed robbery.
