Single-vehicle crash reported in Clarendon

CLARENDON, VT — Troopers from the Vermont State Police — Rutland Barracks responded to a single-vehicle crash on Cold River Road near North Shrewsbury Road in Clarendon at approximately 8:16 p.m. on Nov. 21.

Police determined Cameron Bryan, 21, of Clarendon, lost control while driving a 2005 Honda Accord northbound.

The vehicle exited the roadway, struck a pole, and came to rest on the west side of the road.

Bryan, who reported wearing his seat belt, sustained minor injuries and was transported by Rutland Regional Ambulance.

The Honda Accord suffered damage to its rear passenger side.

Bryan was issued civil complaints for operating without liability insurance and driving on roadways laned for traffic.

The Clarendon Fire Department and Green Mountain Power assisted at the scene.

Road conditions were reported as wet at the time of the crash.
