CHELSEA, MA — A Lynn woman was arrested in Chelsea on Nov. 19 following a two-month investigation into the illegal distribution of cocaine, according to Chelsea Police.
Police said narcotics investigators, after obtaining a search warrant from Chelsea District Court, executed the warrant on Yessenia Bonilla, 43, during a motor vehicle stop in Chelsea.
During the search, investigators discovered 45 grams of powder cocaine and $1,500 in various denominations, police said.
Bonilla was placed under arrest and transported to the Chelsea Police Station for booking.
She was charged with trafficking in cocaine, 36 grams or more.
Bonilla was arraigned in Chelsea District Court.
