KINGSTON, MA — A motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck left one person dead Sunday evening in Kingston.
Police and fire personnel responded to the area of 23 Main Street just before 6 p.m. after receiving reports of a collision.
According to the initial investigation, a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided, resulting in the motorcycle operator becoming unresponsive at the scene.
Despite efforts from first responders and hospital personnel, the motorcycle operator, a 38-year-old man from Plymouth, was pronounced dead shortly after the crash.
The roadway was closed for several hours during the initial investigation but has since reopened.
The case is being handled primarily by State Police detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, with multiple investigatory resources involved.
