BOURNE, MA — A 71-year-old man from Bourne died Thursday morning after he was pinned underneath equipment in a workplace accident at a cranberry bog on County Road, according to police.
Police said officers responded to the scene behind 1054 County Road at approximately 8:26 a.m., where they found the man trapped under a piece of equipment he had been operating.
Paramedics and officers administered CPR, but the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The incident is under investigation by the Bourne Police Department, Massachusetts State Police Detectives, and OSHA.
No additional information was released.
