Man stabbed at hotel in Fairhaven

FAIRHAVEN, MA — Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred at a hotel early Thursday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a man suffering from a stab wound at a hotel at 110 Middle St. at about 1:50 a.m. Nov. 20.

Police found a 31-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening wound to his abdomen.

He was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford for treatment.

Individuals on scene were not cooperative with police during the investigation.

The stabbing remains under investigation.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.

While on scene, officers arrested a man on an unrelated warrant.
