WARWICK, RI — A Greene man was arrested on multiple warrants following a traffic stop on Toll Gate Road.
Robert A. Gencarella, 27, of Greene, was taken into custody at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Gencarella was wanted on a Superior Court full bench warrant for failure to appear for determination of attorney on Sept. 9 on an original charge of possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance out of the West Warwick Police Department.
He also was wanted on a Third Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for pretrial conference on Oct. 6 on an original charge of driving with a suspended license out of the Cranston Police Department.
A third warrant from Third Division District Court was issued for failure to appear for pretrial conference on Oct. 17 on an original charge of driving with a suspended license out of the Warwick Police Department.
Gencarella was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed.
He was later turned over to the ACI Men’s Intake Center.
