NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A Coventry man turned himself in to state police on assault and disorderly conduct charges.
Troopers arrested Jason Lavena, 53, of Coventry, at 4 p.m. at the Wickford Barracks on an affidavit and arrest warrant.
He was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation.
Lavena was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
He was given a future Third District Court date.
