PHILLIPSBURG, NJ — A bench warrant has been issued for a 37-year-old man who failed to appear in court on multiple occasions.
Brian C. Gates is wanted by the Phillipsburg Police Department on charges of contempt of court for violating conditions of a court order and simple assault.
The warrant was issued on Oct. 9.
The contempt charge stems from an incident that occurred on Aug. 27.
The simple assault charge is related to a separate incident that occurred on Aug. 20.
Gates is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.
His current location is unknown.
