PUTNEY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man early Wednesday following a reported physical altercation at a residence.
Police received a 911 call at 1:06 a.m. Nov. 19 regarding a physical altercation at a residence on Old Depot Road.
Troopers responded and conducted an investigation.
Police determined that Christopher L. Garland, 43, of Putney, had physically assaulted a household member at the residence.
Garland was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
Garland was issued conditions of release and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 19 to answer the charge.
