DERRY, NH — Two women were arrested early Tuesday morning after police found them in a vehicle containing stolen property at the Fairways apartment complex.
Derry Police responded to the complex at 4:24 a.m. on Nov. 18 for a report of two suspicious females walking around parked vehicles in the area.
Officers located two women in an orange Dodge Ram parked in one of the lots.
Police determined that several vehicles had been entered and rummaged through.
Neighbors told officers that their vehicles had been entered and property taken.
Officers discovered some of this property within the orange pickup truck.
Police arrested Cherish Barna and Jessica Webster after further investigation.
Both women were released on personal recognizance bail.
They are scheduled to be arraigned before the 10th Circuit Court – Derry District on Jan. 8, 2026.
The pickup truck was seized as it contained what appeared to be additional stolen items.
Derry police were contacted later in the morning by Fairways residents who woke up to discover their vehicles had been entered overnight and property was missing.
The investigation is ongoing.
