OLEAN, NY — Two women were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop early Sunday morning.
Crystal M. Lore, 32, of Cattaraugus, and Autumn M. White, 29, of Coldspring, were taken into custody at approximately 2:30 a.m. Sunday on West Henley Street.
Deputies stopped a vehicle operated by Lore due to multiple vehicle and traffic law infractions.
During the interaction, drug paraphernalia was observed in the driver’s door, the same area Lore was seen reaching into upon the initial stop, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
Both occupants were ordered out of the vehicle and a search was performed.
Deputies located a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, multiple rubber containers, a pipe with residue, a scale and other miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.
Both women were transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Olean Substation for processing.
Lore was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd degree for packaging materials and criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd degree for a scale.
White was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd degree for packaging materials.
Lore was also issued two uniform traffic tickets for operating an uninspected motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with distorted or broken glass.
Both women were released on appearance tickets and are due in Olean City Court at a later date.
