SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a 71-year-old man on an operating under the influence charge Friday evening following reports of a disturbance at a commercial building.
Donald N. Valliere, of South Windsor, was taken into custody at 5:57 p.m. Friday after officers responded to 577 John Fitch Boulevard for reports of a male urinating on the building.
Officers located Valliere, who had left the scene in a vehicle.
During the investigation, police believed Valliere was under the influence of alcohol.
He consented to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he failed.
Valliere was processed and released on a $2,000 non-surety bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Dec. 1 at 9 a.m.
