MECHANIC FALLS, ME — Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Pigeon Hill Road for a report of a two-vehicle crash at approximately 11:01 p.m. Saturday.
Officers of the Mechanic Falls Police Department, Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office, Mechanic Falls Fire Department, Poland Fire Department, and United Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a white 2018 Ford Explorer owned and operated by Hailey Hockman, 28, of Norway, was traveling towards Poland when it crossed the centerline and collided head on with a tan 2019 Dodge pickup traveling in the opposite direction.
Hockman was transported by United Ambulance Service to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation of injuries sustained in the crash.
The occupants of the Dodge were evaluated and treated on scene.
The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency personnel cleared the scene and investigated the crash.
The Mechanic Falls Police Department continues to investigate this incident.
