MEXICO, ME — The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help identifying a suspicious person seen checking doors in a residential area early Thursday morning.
The individual was observed in the areas of Richard Avenue and Worcester Avenue between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m.
The person was reportedly checking doors on homes and vehicles, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities are asking residents in the area to review home surveillance or doorbell camera footage from that time period.
Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or has information that could help identify the individual is asked to contact the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office at 207-743-9554.
