WHITEHALL, NY — A Granville man has been arrested following an investigation into a contractor fraud complaint.
Jonathan A. Lagreze, 43, of Granville, was charged with grand larceny in the third degree, a Class D felony, according to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy.
Lagreze was hired to complete residential work in the village and accepted payment but failed to start or finish any of the agreed-upon tasks, Murphy said.
Lagreze was arraigned at centralized arraignment and released on his own recognizance.
He will appear in Whitehall Village Court at a later date.
