HARTLAND, VT — A New Hampshire man faces a drug possession charge following a traffic stop Nov. 14.
Anthony M. Crear, 52, of Lebanon, New Hampshire, was cited on a charge of cocaine possession.
Sheriff Ryan Palmer observed a vehicle at 58 Henry Road at 11:36 a.m. with registration plates for another vehicle.
Palmer conducted a traffic stop and after a consent search, probable cause was found to charge Crear, a passenger, with possession of crack cocaine.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
The operator was issued several traffic tickets for no insurance, plates not assigned and no registration.
Crear was cited to appear in Windsor County Court on Jan. 13 at 8:30 a.m.
Palmer was assisted by Windsor Police Department Chief Daniels and Officer Crane, as well as Windsor County Sheriff’s Department Deputies Keefe, Eisner and McCabe.
