WESTVILLE, NJ — A man was arrested and charged with stabbing another man in a pub parking lot Wednesday night.
Officers from the Westville Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing in the rear parking lot of Schileens Pub, located at 32 Delsea Drive, at approximately 10:09 p.m. Nov. 13.
Upon arrival, officers found a male who had suffered a stab wound to the abdomen.
Officers secured the scene and the victim was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he received treatment.
A suspect was identified at the scene and was detained without incident.
Damien Cosme, of Deptford, New Jersey, was taken into custody and transported to Westville Police Headquarters for processing.
Cosme has been charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
He has been remanded to the Salem County Jail pending court proceedings.
