LEBANON, NH — A Springfield man faces multiple felony drug charges following his arrest Thursday.
Charles Wolfenbarger, 37, of Springfield, was arrested Nov. 13 after Lebanon police observed him leaving the Fireside Inn in a vehicle, according to a press release from the Lebanon Police Department.
Officers were conducting surveillance in the area as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Wolfenbarger parked at Walgreens, where officers contacted him and took him into custody without incident on an outstanding electronic bench warrant.
During the arrest, officers found $3,195 in cash and a quantity of suspected cocaine on Wolfenbarger, police said.
Officers also observed drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle.
The vehicle was seized pending a search warrant.
A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded additional narcotics and evidence consistent with drug activity, according to police.
Wolfenbarger was transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections.
He was arraigned Friday on charges including controlled drug sales, a Class A felony; possession of cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and possession of fentanyl, all Class B felonies; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and driving after suspension.
