COVENTRY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of driving under the influence after he was found unresponsive in a vehicle off the road on Route 14.
Troopers from the Derby barracks responded to the scene at 11 p.m. Nov. 11 along with the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department, Newport City Fire Department and Newport Ambulance Service.
Upon arrival, authorities identified the operator as Justin Sanville of Irasburg.
Troopers detected indicators of impairment and placed Sanville into custody.
He was processed at the Derby barracks and released with a citation to appear in court.
