Two arrested in Cranston disturbance on Route 295

SCITUATE, RI — Rhode Island State Police made three arrests on Jan. 14, including two stemming from a disturbance on Route 295 in Cranston.

At 10:30 a.m., troopers arrested Julio Nunez-Gomez, 24, of Providence, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for domestic simple assault originating from the Providence Police Department.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Heath Street in Providence.

Nunez-Gomez was transported to State Police Headquarters for processing and then turned over to the Providence Police Department.

At 2 p.m., troopers arrested Antuan Valverde Seoane, 19, of Providence, for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

The arrest resulted from troopers responding to a disturbance call on Route 295 in Cranston.

Valverde Seoane was transported to State Police Headquarters for processing before being arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a future 6th District Division Court date.

At 3:30 p.m., troopers arrested Michel Mazorra Valvered, 47, of Providence, for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

The arrest resulted from troopers responding to the disturbance call on Route 295 in Cranston and a subsequent follow-up investigation at a Dover Street address in Providence.

Mazorra Valvered was transported to State Police Headquarters for processing before being arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a future 6th District Division Court date.
