NEW YORK — A 65-year-old man was arrested following a narcotics investigation by New York State Police.
Michael J. Griggs, of Utica, was taken into custody by members of the State Police Troop D Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team.
On Nov. 7, VGNET members conducted an undercover operation involving Griggs, during which he was found in possession of approximately one ounce of cocaine.
Griggs was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance 2nd degree, a class A-II felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, a class B felony.
He was arraigned at Oneida County Centralized Arraignment Court.
