DELHI, NY — A Bronx man was arrested Saturday after sheriff’s deputies clocked his vehicle traveling 87 mph in a 25 mph zone on Main Street.
Jayden Elmore, 20, of Bronx, was charged with reckless driving, an unclassified misdemeanor, according to Delaware County Sheriff Craig S. DuMond.
Deputies observed the vehicle traveling at an excessively high rate of speed in the village and conducted a traffic stop.
Elmore was also issued traffic summonses for speed in zone, speed not reasonable and prudent, failure to keep right and driver’s view obstructed.
He was released on an appearance ticket and directed to appear in Town of Delhi Court at a later date.
