2 arrested on larceny charges in Corinth

CORINTH, NY — Two women were arrested Thursday following an investigation into a larceny complaint at the Tops Friendly Markets store in the village.

Cynthia A. Roberts, 69, of Corinth, was charged with grand larceny in the 4th degree, a class E felony.

She is accused of stealing merchandise between September and October that had a value in excess of $1,000 while she was employed at the store.

Karen M. Fachini, 44, of Corinth, was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.

She is accused of stealing merchandise during the same time period while also employed by the store.

Both were issued appearance tickets pending proceedings in Corinth Town Court.
