Man arrested on weapons charges in Grafton

GRAFTON, NH — A man was arrested on multiple charges including possession of high explosives and felon in possession of firearms.

Seamus Murphy of Grafton was taken into custody at approximately 7:30 p.m. Friday by the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office, working alongside the U.S. Marshals and the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force.

Murphy was arrested on four outstanding superior court arrest warrants.

Following the arrest, the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on the property, discovering multiple firearms and explosive components.

Murphy was transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections.
