MILFORD, MA — A man was arrested Wednesday morning after police investigated a phone theft from a Main Street business.
Jose Mejia Alba, 44, of Milford, was taken into custody at approximately 9:15 a.m. at his workplace, according to the Milford Police Department.
Detectives from the Milford Police Detective Bureau were alerted to the theft at The Latin Store, located at 18 Main Street, at approximately 8:46 a.m. while investigating another incident.
During the investigation, detectives identified Mejia Alba as the suspect in the larceny.
Mejia Alba was arrested without incident and transported to Milford District Court, where he was arraigned on charges of larceny from building and larceny under $1,200.
