NASSAU, NY — State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on State Route 20 on Nov. 10 at approximately 2:10 p.m.
The investigation determined that an eastbound vehicle crossed into the opposing lane and struck a westbound vehicle head-on.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle was transported with serious injuries to Albany Medical Center.
The driver of the westbound vehicle was declared deceased at the scene.
State Route 20 was closed between State Route 66 and Kinderhook Lane until approximately 6 p.m. for the investigation and collision reconstruction but has since been reopened.
