Three arrested in stolen vehicle case in Greece

GREECE, NY — Three men were arrested after police found them asleep in a stolen vehicle in a Walmart parking lot on Nov. 11.

Greece Police officers responded to the store at 3800 Dewey Avenue at approximately 3:04 p.m. after receiving a report of a vehicle with significant front-end damage that appeared to have been recently involved in a crash.

Officers confirmed the vehicle, a 2005 Buick Rainier, had been reported stolen from the City of Rochester.

Police found three individuals asleep inside the car.

All three provided conflicting statements about ownership and their recent whereabouts, according to police.

Evan Clark, 42, of Rochester, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Shane Drew, 40, of Rochester, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.

Tyrone Stewart, 55, of Lyons, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.
