NEWARK, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects connected to a robbery that occurred on Sunday, October 19.
At approximately 4:15 a.m., an injured man entered the 2nd Precinct, located at 1 Lincoln Avenue, to report that he had been robbed.
The victim stated that he was outside smoking a cigarette at Arlington Avenue near Summer Avenue when he was grabbed from behind by a male suspect and punched in the stomach, chest, and head by two other males.
The suspects robbed the victim of his cash, jewelry, and other personal possessions.
