PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested on a weapons charge following a motor vehicle stop Tuesday afternoon.
Troopers arrested Darin Robinson Silva, 32, of Providence, at 12:30 p.m. on an affidavit and arrest warrant for license or permit required for carrying pistol-fourth offense.
The warrant originated from the Providence Police Department.
The arrest occurred during a motor vehicle stop on Killingly Street.
Silva was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed.
He was later turned over to the Providence Police Department.
