SHELBURNE, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a Bristol man on an outstanding warrant while assisting with a vehicle that slid off the road.
Troopers responded to Vermont Route 116 at approximately 6:27 p.m. on Nov. 10 for a vehicle that had gone off the roadway.
The operator was identified as Austin Jerome, 25, of Bristol.
Police determined Jerome had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear stemming from a previous charge of leaving the scene of an accident.
Jerome was released with a citation to appear before the Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on Nov. 12 at 12:30 p.m.
