WATERBURY, CT — Police arrested a man on drug charges following a search warrant execution at a West Main Street residence.
Richard Valentin, 40, of Waterbury, was taken into custody without incident on Nov. 4 at 450 West Main Street.
The arrest followed an investigation by the Waterbury Police Department’s VICE and Intelligence Unit, Gang Task Force, and the Connecticut State Police Violent Crimes Task Force in response to complaints about drug activity in the areas of West Main Street, Judd Street, and French Street.
Officers executed a search and seizure warrant at the second-floor residence and seized crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
This marks the third time in the past two years that a search warrant has been executed at the address for Valentin.
Valentin was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
The Waterbury Police Department’s Auto Theft Task Force also assisted in the operation.
