Two arrested on drug, weapon charges in Westford

WESTFORD, NY — Two people face felony drug and weapon charges following a trespass complaint on Jan. 9.

Marcus S. Borggreen, 31, of Mt. Upton, and Destiny L. Grant, 26, of Mt. Upton, were arrested after Otsego County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence for a report of two people who were not supposed to be there.

Deputies found the pair in the basement of the residence.

During the investigation, deputies said they found the two in possession of MDMA, narcotic drugs and several weapons.

Borggreen and Grant were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony; fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony; three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor; third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony; and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor.

Both were held for centralized arraignment in Town of Westford Court.
