Groveton man arrested on warrant in Lancaster

LANCASTER, NH — A Groveton man was arrested Wednesday on an outstanding warrant from Coos Superior Court.

Dennis Fregeau, 65, was taken into custody by Lancaster police after officers made contact with him.

The warrant was issued for failure to appear on charges of possession of a controlled drug, resisting arrest or detention and disorderly conduct.

Fregeau was arrested without incident and transported to the Lancaster Police Department for processing.

He was then transported to the Coos County House of Corrections, where he is being held pending a hearing in Coos Superior Court.
