BROOKVILLE, NY — Police arrested a man and recovered a loaded firearm following a motor vehicle disturbance Saturday.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Cedar Swamp Road near Country Lane at approximately 11 a.m. Nov. 8.
Police Officer Reis located the suspect vehicle moments later.
Hasauni Rucker, 32, of Hicksville, was arrested at the scene.
Police recovered a loaded Glock firearm.
Rucker was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, menacing in the second degree and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.
The Brookville Police Department was assisted by the Nassau County Police Department and officers from neighboring villages.
