PANTON, VT — A Shoreham man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks were notified of the crash at approximately 12:44 a.m. on Vermont Route 22A near the intersection of Sunset Knoll Road.
Troopers identified the operator as Miguel A. Reyeshernandez, 33, of Shoreham.
While speaking with Reyeshernandez, troopers detected indicators of impairment.
Reyeshernandez was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and negligent operation.
He was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, which sustained front-end damage in the crash.
No injuries were reported.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
Reyeshernandez was released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on Nov. 17 at 12:30 p.m.
