HAVERSTRAW, NY — A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with two commercial burglaries in Garnerville and Haverstraw.
Cory Cordero, of Garnerville, was taken into custody Thursday in Stony Point, according to the Haverstraw Police Department.
The incidents involved the theft of money collection and change machines located in laundry rooms at two separate residential complexes.
Cordero was transported to the Haverstraw Police Department for processing.
He was charged with multiple counts of burglary, grand larceny and criminal mischief.
Following arraignment, he was released on his own recognizance pending further court proceedings.
The Haverstraw Police Department thanked the Stony Point Police Department, the Rockland County Intelligence Center and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the investigation.
