WHEELOCK, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Stannard Mountain Road on Nov. 8 at approximately 11:13 a.m.
Investigation revealed Eli Shedd, 19, of Walden, was traveling east on Stannard Mountain Road when he lost control in the muddy, slushy conditions.
The 2018 Ram truck left the roadway and rolled down a short embankment near Ide Mountain Drive.
Shedd and his passenger, Emma Gray-Richards, 17, of Otisfield, Maine, sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt.
The vehicle was totaled.
Vermont State Police were assisted by Lyndon Rescue and the Sheffield-Wheelock Fire Department.
The vehicle was removed by Mountain View Auto.
No court action was taken.
