WINDSOR, VT — Multiple people were cited Thursday after authorities executed a search warrant that required a hazmat team response.
The Windsor County Sheriff’s Department executed the warrant in the area of 460 Route 5 South.
The Windsor Police Department and Springfield Police Department assisted in the operation.
The Vermont State HAZMAT Team responded to the scene.
Authorities partially closed a lane on Route 5 South and asked motorists to avoid the area.
Officials said there was no danger to the public.
