NEWARK, NJ — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a woman wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Friday, September 19.
At approximately 10:44 p.m., officers responded to Birks Place near Nye Avenue on a call of shots fired.
Responding officers did not locate any victims, but observed spent shell casings at the location of the firearm discharge.
Detectives investigating this incident seek Aaliecyah Cooper, 24, for questioning.
She is described as 5’11” tall and 240 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
