Man arrested on drug charges in Warwick

WARWICK, RI — Troopers arrested Hector N. Medina, 27, of Central Falls, at 11:47 a.m. on charges of manufacturing/delivery/possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I-II controlled substance for psilocybin and tetrahydrocannabinol, and possession of marijuana more than 2 ounces.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on the Airport Connector.

Medina was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace with a notice to appear at Third Division District Court.

At 10:40 p.m., troopers arrested Christopher Lewis, 57, of Providence, on an affidavit and arrest warrant originating from the Providence Police Department for driving on a suspended license, fourth or subsequent offense.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Airport Connector Road.

Lewis was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.

At 2:50 a.m., troopers arrested Pamela Sherman, 59, of Warwick, on an affidavit and arrest warrant originating from the Pawtucket Police Department for violation of a no contact order.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road.

Sherman was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where she was processed and turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.
