EXETER, RI — A 45-year-old man was arrested on domestic charges Thursday afternoon following a wellbeing check at a residence.
Eric M. Cekala, of Exeter, was taken into custody at 2:50 p.m. by Rhode Island State Police troopers.
Cekala was charged with domestic disorderly conduct, first offense, and domestic simple assault, first offense.
Troopers had responded to the residence to conduct a wellbeing check.
Cekala was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
He was released with a future Fourth Division District Court date.
