RUTLAND, VT — Vermont State Police were notified of an assault at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility on Oct. 3 at approximately 6:19 p.m.
Investigation revealed that Dylon Kaley, 19, of Bennington, and another inmate assaulted Richard Collier, 44, of Troy, New York, while incarcerated in the same unit at the facility.
On Nov. 7, Kaley was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Rutland Criminal Division on Dec. 1 at 10 a.m.
Kaley was charged with simple assault.
