BRIDGEPORT, CT — The Bridgeport Police Department arrested eight people with domestic violence warrants in a sweep code-named Operation Purple Shield.
One of those taken into custody early yesterday morning was a 44-year-old man wanted for sexually assaulting a child.
Patrick Curry, of Bridgeport, was arrested for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old family member.
Curry was charged with sexual assault in the first degree, sexual contact with a person under 16 years of age and risk of injury to a minor.
His bond was set at $200,000.
Here are the others arrested as part of Operation Purple Shield:
Tyrese Dennis, 24, of Bridgeport – criminal violation of restraining order and harassment in the second degree. Bond was $25,000.
Jose Flores-Viano, 30, of Bridgeport – reckless endangerment second degree, disorderly conduct, assault in the third degree. Bond was $500.
Tiago Amorim-Deferias, 40, of Bridgeport – breach of peace second degree and criminal mischief third degree. Bond was $50,000.
Tymithy Jenkins, 27, of Bridgeport – criminal violation of a restraining order. Bond was $30,000.
John Holleran, 43, of Bridgeport – reckless endangerment in the second degree, breach of peace second degree. Promise to appear in court.
Taneisha Fischer-Morris, 45, of Bridgeport – interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct. Promise to appear in court.
Brionna Bland, 22, of Bridgeport – assault third degree, unlawful restraint second degree, reckless endangerment second degree, breach of peace second degree and criminal mischief second degree. Bond was $100,000.
