Nashua woman arrested on domestic violence charges

NASHUA, N.H. — A 57-year-old Nashua woman was arrested Tuesday on multiple domestic violence charges after allegedly assaulting a man and threatening him with a knife.

Suzanne Jalbert was charged with four counts of domestic violence simple assault, a misdemeanor A offense, and domestic violence criminal threatening, a Class B felony.

Nashua Police responded November 5, 2025, to a report of a domestic violence incident.

The male victim reported that Jalbert was intoxicated, had assaulted him and then threatened him with a knife.

Officers arrested Jalbert at the scene.

Detectives from the Special Investigations Division conducted interviews with everyone involved and recovered a knife during the investigation.

Jalbert was held on preventative detention and is scheduled to be arraigned in 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on November 6, 2025, at 1 p.m.
