NEWFANE, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man on a DUI charge following a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening.
Troopers from the Westminster Barracks responded to a report of a crash on River Road near Sawmill Road at approximately 7:08 p.m.
Through investigation, police determined Michael C. White, 46, of Putney, was under the influence of intoxicants while operating a motor vehicle on a public highway.
White was arrested and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
He was later released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Nov. 25 at 8:30 a.m.
