ROME, NY — A woman was arrested after allegedly threatening another customer with a knife at a fast-food restaurant Monday afternoon.
Officers from the Rome Police Department responded to Wendy’s at 401 Erie Boulevard West at about 4:30 p.m. following a report of a menacing incident.
The victim told police an unknown woman approached her and threatened her with a knife while she was eating inside the restaurant.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
Police quickly identified and apprehended Nyquasia S. Morris, 29, of Rome.
Morris was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a felony, and menacing in the second degree, a misdemeanor.
She was transported to the Oneida County Centralized Arraignment and held on bail.
